APJ is extraordinarily proud to share a long-term partnership with Bovet 1822, one of the leading timepiece manufacturers in the world.
Founded in 1822, the House of Bovet has for almost two centuries occupied a mastery position in the world of fine watchmaking. Since Pascal Raffy’s acquisition of Bovet 1822 in 2001, the charity endeavors undertaken by Bovet have been exclusively devoted to children and education. After partnering with APJ for an event in 2012, Mr. Raffy was very moved by the work of our organization and decided to make a substantial commitment to supporting APJ through a multi-year partnership.
The house has recently announced a new Lady Bovet timepiece which sees their Virtuoso II movement in a design specifically for women. The Flower of Life artwork that decorates the dial is a universal symbol of balance and vitality found in many civilizations. It perfectly represents the charity work that has united Bovet and APJ since 2012.
The partnership between Bovet and APJ has given rise to a close friendship between Pascal Raffy and actress and APJ Board Member, Madeleine Stowe, who has generously become the face of this new timepiece. In addition to Bovet's annual contribution, 10% of the value of every one of these remarkable timepieces sold will be donated to APJ.
